Most pets will have to go under anesthesia at least once, whether it is for a spay, neuter, mass removal or a dental cleaning -- and for many, multiple surgeries or dentals will be warranted for their best health. We make this process easier on everyone by providing holistic support. Pets wait for surgery in a room that has low lighting, is quiet with soft music playing, and aromatherapy going. Cats are separated from dogs. During the anesthetic procedure, we take steps to ensure that any pain is kept to a minimum by providing acupuncture, fluid therapy, Vitamin B12 and homeopathic remedies. After the procedure, pets recover in another quiet room on a warm bed, where they are constantly monitored. They don't wake up in a metal cage, and we are there to comfort them as they recovery. Pets are allowed to go home as soon as they are up and walking around. We think this is the gentlest way to provide a service that a pet may need, but there's no way to explain what's happening -- so we try to make the entire day as comfortable as we can.
