SCHEDULING NOTICE: OUR NEXT AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT IS MONDAY, APRIL 1ST

There are no goodbyes for us.

Wherever you are, you will always be in my heart.

Here to help, at any time

Your pet is a cherished friend and companion. When it’s time to say goodbye, it can be one of the most difficult experiences of your relationship. Full Circle was founded in the hopes of creating a different way for pets and their owners to say their final goodbyes: in peace and with kindness, at home.

As you enter this end-of-life journey with your pet, we are here to help you with expertise and compassion as you progress down the path. We can provide insight to help you determine when the time is right, comforting care to ease the passage of the last days, and peaceful euthanasia to make the final moments together a gentle memory.

Every beautiful journey comes Full Circle.

Our Services

  • Home Euthanasia

A peaceful transition for your beloved companion, in the comfort of your home, wherever you would like to be. Just as they have been there by your side, through so many transitions in life, you can be with them when they need you the most. You can choose how you want the end of your pet’s life to be, close to you, with no fear, no pain, only love.

  • Cremation Services

We coordinate directly with a local cremation service and provide transport to the facility afterward. There are options for communal cremation with no ashes returned as well as individual, private cremation with ashes returned in a variety of included urns.

  • Quality of Life Assessment and Hospice Care

We know that this is the most difficult decision that you will have to make as a pet owner. We are here to help navigate this time in your companion’s life with in-home or virtual quality-of-life assessments and guidance on hospice care, to assist you in knowing how you can help your pet in the most loving way, and when their quality of life might be compromised.

Why Choose Full Circle

We operate on a very personal level, with compassion and support, to help you make decisions that are right by your pet. We care deeply about animals and the people who love them, and are here to help, whenever you need.

  • Founder and Veterinarian

Full Circle Pet Hospice and Euthanasia was established in 2010 by Dr. Carrie Donahue, who has served the Madison and Milwaukee communities for many years. Full Circle focuses on making the end of pets' lives an essential and loving aspect of veterinary care. Since starting to offer this service, we've been on a journey of learning, loving, and respectfully caring for animals at the end of their lives, and helping pet owners to provide support for their older companions.

  • Veterinary Technician

Autumn is a Madison native who has been in the veterinary field for 10 years. She has experience in conventional medicine, holistic/integrated medicine, and end of life care. Her passion for end of life care grew immensely after losing her own dog of 14 years, Mercy Lee. Her primary goal is to bring peace to both owners and their pets during the most difficult part of the journey. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, ballroom and latin dancing, and spending time with her sweet pups, Moe the super Pug, and Scrappy the goofy American Bully.

  • Dr. Carrie helped us with an at-home pet euthanasia and was very kind, gentle, and understanding with all of our questions and emotions and our innformal setting.

    Katherine, Madison

  • I cannot thank Dr. Carrie enough for making the most difficult, painful time into one of calmness and peace for both me and my loyal, brave friend.

    Veronica, Madisonn

  • My old boy was suffering at almost 15. Dr. Carrie came to my home all the way by Sauk and gave my poor dog a very kind, comfortable, and compassionate end.

    Ashley, Sauk City

  • Anyone who has owned and loved a pet knows that the worst part is the goodbye. This was our first "at home euthanasia" and going forward I would never have it any other way.

    Stefanie, Mt. Horeb

  • Dr. Carrie is hands down the BEST doctor for the job! She is absolutely wonderful and caring! She is so friendly and treated my pet with the utmost dignity.

    Kayla, Janesville

  • Dr. Carrie was so kind, caring, compassionate, and treated Gertie with the utmost care and respect throughout the entire process. She really helped make this horrible and heartbreaking situation into a heartfelt memory we will cherish forever.

    Philip, Stoughton

  • I am forever grateful to Dr. Carrie for her kind demeanor, gentle touch, and caring compassion in helping my sweet Tobias pass. The heartache in losing him is so intense, but there is great comfort in knowing my ‘baby boy’ ended his life with the utmost tenderness and dignity.

    Kathy, Madison

  • Dr. Carrie was the savior of our day. She guided our beloved Jubilee the last few steps of her journey in comfort and compassion. She was so thoughtful and intuitive to our human needs as well. Her gentle, quiet and sure presence helped us all.

    Angela, Fitchburg

  • It cannot be overstated how incredible of a service this is. Dr. Carrie and Autumn are redefining expectations of how true animal care ought to look.
