The Full Circle: A compassionate way to say goodbye.
Your pet is a cherished friend and companion. When it’s time to say goodbye, it can be one of the most difficult experiences of your relationship. Full Circle was founded in the hopes of creating a different way for pets and their owners to say their final goodbyes: in peace and with kindness, at home.
As you enter this end-of-life journey with your pet, we are here to help you with expertise and compassion as you progress down the path. We can provide insight to help you determine when the time is right, comforting care to ease the passage of the last days, and peaceful euthanasia to make the final moments together a gentle memory. Every beautiful journey comes Full Circle.
Our mission to pets and their loving owners is the most important part of who we are. We aim to provide gentle, compassionate care and to help you with the end of life issues surrounding your pet, including medical assessment and consultation services, palliative and hospice care, and in-home euthanasia. Our services also include cremation and aftercare, and helping to support you in your grieving process.

St. Francis of Assisi
I cannot thank Dr. Carrie enough for making the most difficult, painful time into one of calmness and peace for both me and my loyal, brave friend. My cat of over 14 years, Timmy, who was by my side for multiple moves, failed relationships, and every high and low in my life was on a slow decline in health and her illness suddenly worsened. Within a few hours, my email request was responded to, and her availability was prompt. Once Dr. Carrie arrived, my nerves calmed and felt at ease while I introduced her to Timmy and my other pets. She talked me through every step of the process, and was quiet and respectful of our bond. I was able to hold Timmy close to my heart the whole time. Dr. Carrie helped facilitate such an emotional time and reassured me that it was not only the right thing, but the most loving thing I could do for my sweet girl. It was worth the very fair price to have my girl pass on at home in the least stressful way possible, it was the best last gift I could give her. I will be using Dr. Carrie's services again for other pets.
Hear from Others
What we have once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
Full Circle Pet Hospice and Euthanasia was established in 2010 by Dr. Carrie Donahue, who has served the Madison and Milwaukee communities for many years. Full Circle focuses on making the end of pets' lives an essential and loving aspect of veterinary care. Since starting to offer this service, we've been on journey of learning, loving and respectfully caring for animals at the end of their lives, and helping pet owners to provide support for their older companions.
End of life care is not just a business for us at Full Circle. Passion for what we do lives in the hearts of each of us, forming the foundations of who we are and what we do. We are committed to offering each pet caretaker a personal and caring experience.
Thank you for considering us for your pet's needs at this time, and please reach out with any questions you might have, we would be honored to help.
