Missy Sue - one of the bravest, silliest, and most loving creatures we have ever met. She was so emotionally intelligent; an old soul in a beautiful Pittie body. We feel grateful for the years she gave us pure joy and unconditional love. We miss her terribly but feel some relief that the fight is over. We are letting the tears flow when they need to, telling sweet stories about her, and processing the last moments of her death which are profound and traumatic. She deserves the full weight of our grief. She is a model of resilience in our eyes. Her oncologist vet said, “I guess she was always going to do it on her terms.” And she did. That's how she lived life - on her terms. We will love her forever.
