NORAH
In loving memory of Norah
We were first introduced to Norah when she was only a few weeks old. A rescue organization had placed her with a local foster after she had been found abandoned with her littermate in a cold North Carolina parking lot. Her sister did not make it and we can never understand how someone could ever be so cruel. We’ve always felt very fortunate to have been “picked” to be her family. She’s been the sweetest companion and particularly found of children, so much so that she was lovingly called “mama puppy”.
She loved being with family, going up north, walking at the farm, tearing open wrapping paper and being concerningly close to the firelace.
11 years doesn’t seem enough time, but we couldn’t watch her struggle any longer. Her humans and Beddy miss her immensely but are comforted in knowing her pain is over, and she’s been reunited by her old pal, Bucky.
We’ll see you again, Nori / Newie / New-New / Norah.
